It's difficult to "get" a post when it's such a load of bollocks. Supposed fans like you, Nicey, Johnyn et Al are desperate for us to fail. I suspect you are a streamer.

Shit fans.

Why has the atmosphere gone so dead home and away when we are selling out and sitting fourth?

'Almost every attack was in old BFS hoof style, only now with a bit better players.
Exception to this was when SONG, Downing and Kouyate had the ball. '

I couldn't make it yesterday, I know highlights don't show the full picture but that's what it seemed like to me as well.

But at the end of the day they were two well taken goals and we easily deserved the win. We're fourth and I'm fucking ecstatic at the way we've played overall this season. Now for the Chelsea scum.

Yeah, we're so "awful", "abysmal" and "diabolical" that we're forth.

We really do have shit fans, though.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread 2-0 FT
Had a look at the game in peace last night and was pretty shocked to see how how bad we played in great parts of the game.
Tomkins looked awful with the ball in his feet, hoofing it away in every situations.
Jenkinson didn't make one decent cross on his overlaps.
Nolan was abysmal, quite diabolical at times. Why is he playing?
Downing on the flanks is a waste of talent. As soon he gets in the middle he shows how good he is.

Almost every attack was in old BFS hoof style, only now with a bit better players.
Exception to this was when SONG, Downing and Kouyate had the ball.

I can see BFS going old style because Chelsea and arsenal are up next. That's horrendous if true.
I would bench both Nolan and Carroll next games and go for the team that played our first set of games.

I have to quote BFS from last night "I will stick to a winning team...." - somwhy didn't he stick with the team that won without Nolan and Carroll?

I'd like to See us starting Valencia again, Carroll is a handful but Valencia was running teams riot in his absence. Feel for Zarate a bit, would like to see him involved more. Mind you when we are winning you don't change things hey?

Atmosphere was dead. Great to see a sell out but it hurts to be at UP when it's so quiet. Wouldn't think we were sitting fourth. Fans get behind the team when they need us though and that we wasn't needed yesterday IMO

Agreed carter...v man city we went toe to toe...v villa, west brom, etc... We dropped our pace.

Team spirit is v high and that is a massive factor. I doubt we will see as many mistakes v Chelsea...standards will be raised v quickly

Really hope song is ok - any news on him as he got a few kicks and had to cover for Nolans lack of ability

Morning Coffee and everyone out there.
Another three points and I wonder if anyone notices we seem to play better against the better teams.....City, Liverpool, Swansea etc.
Against the poorer sides, we were one of them last year impossible isn't it?, we don't play so well as I think they drag us down to their level and we have the mindset "fuck it.. its only QPR or Leicester.
All credit to BFS, but, I still don't like him, but, if he keeps this up ,well I might change my mind.
It won't be in this lifetime though...

The last time I remember us playing with such confidence and flair was in the promotion year of 1993.

It's Christmas everyone and we are fourth.

And I think I have had a bit of a seasonal change of heart...if we can go the rest of the season with people on here saying, "it's 3 points but..." then having a little moan, that's great because it means we got the three points.

The Downing goal was a good example of where we are. He knew exactly what he was doing and didn't even think of not scoring.

Confidence is a great thing.

Well done Samuel, credit where it's due.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread 2-0 FT
We won but didn’t really play as well as we could, would like to see Valencia coming on earlier or even starting, AC is a handful but everything seems to revolve around getting it up to him and hoofing becomes more obvious, with the other 2 we seemed more creative IMO

Still another 3 points and if you can do that and still not play as well as you can then that’s a bonus, expect we will be well up for Chelsea and Arsenal and for the first time in a few years I can see us getting something from both those games

We won pretty comfortably Leicester to their credit had a go. Another three points I find it hard to accept some of our supporters can be arsed to pick holes.
The football we are playing is as good as I can remember and I'm 47.
It's brilliant to be a hammer and I hope I'm right in saying I can't see it going tits up.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread 2-0 FT
I'm happy that we won 2-0 but.....it seems a pity that we couldn't control the game against the bottom team.

It's possible that I'm missing something but I do worry that we are reverting to BFS type by hoofing the ball today.

Early doors we were catching teams out with Sakho and Valencia running at them but lately with Nolan and Carroll back we seem to be launching hoof balls again....

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread 2-0 FT
A 2-0 defeat is not unusual for them because Palace, Swansea and Southampton have already done it. And they have the joint worst goal difference shared with Burnley.

Pretty standard result for them today.

Its bloody good to be a Hammer these days. But lets get one thing straight; we're not overachieving small fry.
We are a historically successful club. Multiple cup winners on the domestic and international stage. Don't even get me started on '66!

Its been a long time coming (24 years) but we are back where we belong.
Not a loser anymore, like the last time and the time before.
Maybe this time...
Maybe this time we'll win!

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread 2-0 FT
From my recollection Leicester have not really been hammered but since they scored 5 against Man U have struggled to score.
They worked hard but unlike QPR don't have a Charlie Austin.
